NOTICE OF THE •
OPENING OF PUBLIC ROAD
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Commissioners of the County of
Weld will in sixty days from July 30.19.2edirect the proper officer to open
and work, as a public highway,the road prayed for in a petition filed at the office
of said Commissioners on the. ..let. .. .day of July A. D., 19.?G, said
road being described as follows, to-wit:

And the said Commissioners do hereby declare the said line to be a public
highway from and after said sixty days.

ROAD. PETITION.
To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colo.
GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at

The Northwest corner of S 7 in Twp 6 N. R. 64 W 6 P. Y. thence net between
sections 8 and 17, thence between sections 9 and 3.6 about three fourths of.
a mile to the dam of The Desert Res. (West end) thence from the east end of The Adesrt
Reservoir dam ,east to section corner,thence east between sections 10. and 15 to
section corner
No viewers appointed for reason Commissioners
familiar with Route. Said Road granted as petitioned.
Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above described,
and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of
one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld.
he receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agrees to give
he right of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for
