RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME TO LEE'S SALES AND SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all
items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal from Lee's Sales and
Service, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described as two 1993
Type III Ford Ambulances, being more fully described in said proposal which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from Lee's Sales and Service
to buy said equipment for and in consideration of the sum of$10,000 per vehicle, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
approve said bid proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the bid proposal from Lee's Sales and
Service in the amount of$10,000 per vehicle, be, and hereby is, approved.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 1999.

Lee's Sales & Service offers to purchase from Weld Co.
Ambulance, two 1993 Type III Ford Ambulances. These units
are described as being in good mechanical & cosmetic
condition with no repairs necessary which would exceed $500.
For either unit. Units tobe complete with all emergency lighting
8c siren, cot hardware & all other fixed equipment. Units are to
be delivered to Braun Inc. Oakwood , OH approximately 20,
December 1998. Total milage approximately 100k ea. Please
provide invoice & vin # by fax.
