RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER#1 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -
COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Change Order Letter#1 between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Department of Human Services, and the Colorado Department of
Transportation, with terms and conditions being as stated in said change order, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change order, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Change Order Letter#1 between the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Human Services, and the Colorado Department of Transportation be, and hereby
is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said change order.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of December, A.D., 1998.

CHANGE ORDER LETTER
Date: November 6,1998
State Fiscal Year 1998-99
Change Order Letter No. 1
In accordance with Paragraph C, Exhibit A of contract routing number 98 HTD 01018
between the State of Colorado Department of Transportation and Weld County
Department of Human Resources covering the period of January 14, 1998 through
December 31, 1998 the undersigned agreed that the vehicle would be procured by
December 31, 1998 and billed no later than 60 days after the delivery of the vehicle.
The undersigned agreed that the office equipment would be procured by December
31 , 1998 and billed no later than 60 days after the delivery of the vehicle.
The contract is modified as follows:
That the contract completion date is changed from December 31, 1998 to December
31, 1999 due to the vehicle manufacturing time schedule by the designated vendor.
The grantee has 60 days from date of vehicle delivery to request the reimbursement
for the vehicle. The office equipment completion date is changed from December 31 ,
1998 to December 31 , 1999 due to the delay by the Weld County Department of
Human Resources in making the move to a new location. There will be no change in
the amount of funding awarded in the contract. The federal funds will be carried
forward to cover the contract terms.
This amendment to the Agreement is intended to be effective as of\Ecr,- \acr 17 I9`w
but in no event shall it be deemed valid until it shall have been approved by the State
Controller or such assistant as he may designate.
Please sign, date, and return all copies of this letter on or before December 1 ,1998.
