Gentlemen:
We are herewith enclosing Quit Claim Deed from
Roy J. Hutchinson, Elva A. Hutchinson and C. E. Van Meter
to the Board County Commissioners of Weld County conveying
the South 10 ft. of the South half of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 19-4-68, said strip to be used for public highway.
This conveyance is executed pursuant to agreement
between the owners and Mr. Edward McCormick, the owner of
the land adjoining on the east.
It is our understanding that this 10 ft. together
with the adjoining 18 ft. now open is to be improved by the
County as a public highway .

WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of

To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners Weld County, Colorado :
GENTLEMEN:—
J our viewers appointed on the eighth day of . . __February____
nI9I3__to view a county road prayed for in a certain petition presented to your Honorable body on the above
named day and date, a copy of which has been received by us, viz.: Commencing at*
Commencing at the North-east corner of the North-west quarter of
Section 30, in Township 4 North of Range 68 West of the Sixth Principal
ieridian, thence West along the Section line one hundred sixty (I60)
rods to the North-west corner of said quarter section; thence South
eighteen (I8) feet ; thence East parallel to said section line one
hundred sixty (I60) rods ; thence North eighteen (I8) feet to the place
of beginning, same being in Weld County, Colorado.
Respectficlly submit the follozviyg report, to wit: After receiving our authority to act, we met at the starting point of
said proposed road,on the 2c �G.-4i ay of e� ?pa at the hour of /6 o'clock7f' M.,being the
time and place specified. in our appointment, and proceeded to view the road prayed for in said petition, as follows:
We commenced at the starting point named in said petition, and runt
Commencing at the North-east corner of the North-west quarter of
Section 30, in Township 4 North of Range 68 West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian, thence west along the section line one hundred sixty (I60)
rods to the North-west corner of said quarter section, thence South
eighteen (I8) feet; thence East parallel to said aectioa line one hundred
sixty (I60) rods ; thence North eighteen (I8) feet to the place of
beginning, same being in Weld County, Colorado.

The last named point being the terminus thereof, and the road as above laid out and viewed being over the most
practicable route which we in our judgment can find. We found it necessary to make the following changes in the
proposed route as prayed for, viz.:$

My Dear Mr. Levis •-
• I am enclosing a petition for a private road to one of my
farms . The situation is this . The road asked for has been used
as anrivate road to this property for more than twenty years , and I can
continue to use it without objection, but it seems to me 'that the owners
should have some nay for the land and I would like to have title to the
road, so I have agreod, with the owners to pay them 50 .00 for the right
of way, but the property belongs to an estate and the owners can not
give me a deed without going to the expense and trouble of having a
guardian appointed, and our attorney. has suggested this way as the
shortest and for road purpose as eff±cient as any. /0q,?5- P
