RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF LINDSEY SMITH TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancy currently exists on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Lindsey Smith be appointed to said board
as the 4-H Youth Executive Council representative, to replace Jeremy Schneider, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Lindsey Smith to said board, with
her term to expire October 31, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Lindsey Smith be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board, with
her terms to expire October 31, 2000.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of June, A.D., 1999.
