RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1087 - MEYER (BRICHER)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated August 23, 1995, the Board did approve Special Review
Permit #1087 for retail sale of buffalo meat and other buffalo oriented products in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District for Boyd and Allison Meyer on the following described real estate,
to-wit:
Part of the NE% of the NW% of Section 24,
Township 6 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Boyd and Allison Meyer and
Matt and Wendy Bricher, 4980 West 7th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634, to vacate said Special
Review Permit#1087, and the Department of Planning Services staff recommended approval of
said vacation due to conditional approval of RE #1870 on said property, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Special Review Permit#1087 be, and hereby is, vacated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 15th day of April, A.D., 1996.

Dear Shani:
It is the request of Boyd and Allison Meyer and Matt and Wendy Bricher that Weld County
USR-1087 be vacated for the following reasons:
1. Construction costs are too high.
2. We are currently selling our product at another location and do not feel that there is a
large enough market to open a second facility.
3. Because this type of business is a niche market there is not sufficient demand to justify
such an expensive capital investment.

APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS
The Department of Planning Services has determined through the review that the standards of Sections 11.5.1 through
11.5.6 of the Weld County Subdivision Ordinance have been met. This Recorded Exemption is approved with the
following conditions in accordance with information submitted in the application and the policies of the County.
A Weld County septic permit is required for any proposed home. The septic system shall be installed according to the
Weld County Individual Sewage Disposal System (ISDS) regulations.
The following note shall be placed on the plat: All proposed or existing structures will or do meet the minimum setback
and offset requirements for the zone district in which the property is located.
Prior to recording the plat,the applicant shall vacate USR-1087 for retail sales of buffalo meat and associated products.
The applicant shall dedicate 75'of right-of-way from the center line of State Highway 392.
The applicant shall submit a mylar plat to the Department of Planning Services to be recorded in the office of the Weld
County Clerk and Recorder. The plat shall be prepared in accordance with the requirements of Section 11.7 of the Weld
County Subdivision Ordinance. The plat shall be submitted within sixty (60) days from the date of approval by the
Department of Planning Services. The applicant shall be responsible for paying the recording fees.•By Date ap A .�. 1996
