QUESTIONAIRE ANSWERS
( 1 ) The farm will still be used for growing crops and livestock.

( 6 ) This is not an agriculturally productive piece of land.

(8 ) Storage yard for construction company trucks, equipment,
tools & supplies as well as a personal boat and camper.
( 9 ) Nearest residence is on the east side of Rd. 41 , directly
across the road from the south end of the yard.
( 10 ) No employees actually work here. Only routine repair and
maintenance of tools and equipment is done by Dan Berger
when not on a job site.
( 11 ) One person - Dan Berger.
( 12 ) One pet cat - for mouse control and companionship.
( 13 ) None - we don' t manufacture or process anything here.
( 14 ) This storage-yard has been in use for approximately 10
years . Structures have existed for 5 to 10 years .
Structures include: One metal roof (no walls ) attached
to one of 2 semi-storage trailers, one gas tank & air
compressor under a smaller metal roof, one locking gate
at road access, one workbench area with partial windbreak
walls, one wooden shed next to boat shelter roof, one trim
rack and one dumpster enclosure. No new structures are
planned.
( 15 ) Two pick-up trucks - once or twice daily, one tool truck (2-ton)
- sometimes, but not always daily, 2 truck-mounted hydraulic
cranes (one 5-ton, one 10-ton) come and go occasionally,
one Chevy-tractor w/equip. trailer to haul forklifts to and
from job-sites occasionally, 2 semi-trailers and one flat-bed
trailer that never leave the premises, employee vehicles ( 1 to 3 )
arrive daily and are parked here while employees go to job-sites
in company trucks, gas delivery truck and trash truck come
monthly.
( 16 ) No - no need for sewer system.
( 17 ) No wastes will be stockpiled here.

( 18 ) Dumpster is emptied once a month by Gray Bros . Used motor
oil is put in a barrel and taken to oil recycling center.
( 19 ) There is nothing else to construct.
( 20 ) A row of small to medium trees and grass exist on the east
side next to the road, grass has been planted along the
boundary next to the ditch bank, a few trees in a weedy area
exist along the south boundary line. No further landscaping
is planned and erosion is not a problem.
( 21 ) This was just a weed-filled patch of ground before we started
using it as a storage-yard. All structures can be removed
later leaving no trace of their existence. Everything that
is anchored down simply sits on concrete pylons with anchor
bolts.
( 22 ) We need the convenient location of a storage place for our
business as we live about a half-mile down the road and
have no room for storage at our house. Also, having the yard
so close to where we live is better for security purposes .
( 23 ) Hudson and Lochbuie Fire Depts .
( 24 ) There is no water on this site.-It is not needed.
( 25 ) There is a natural slope which drains into the irrigation
ditch. Storm drainage is not a problem, it actually helps
water the grass we planted. This ground has always drained
in this manner.
