RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO LONG TERM CARE BIO-
ETHICS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jerry Kearney be appointed to said board to
replace Laura Neuschewanger; Tom Zeleny to replace Karen Kline; Bruce Holamon to replace
Sharon Jacksi; Sretta Clark to replace Kim Magalee; Brad Grantham to replace John Morosco;
Dave Gibson to replace Susan Udell-Emond; Judith Knapp to replace Marybeth Leaven; and
Terry Kearns to replace Roxanna Smock, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Charles Connell, Dee Perkins, Janis McCall,
and Charles Weishaupt be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Erica Farson be appointed to said board to
replace Michelle McDonnell as case manager for the Weld County Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jerry Kearney, Tom Zeleny, Bruce
Holamon, Sretta Clark, Brad Grantham, Dave Gibson, and Judith Knapp to said board, with
their terms to expire January 1, 2001; and to appoint Terry Kearns, with her term to expire
January 1, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Charles Connell, Dee Perkins,
Janis McCall, and Charles Weishaupt to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2000,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Erica Farson to said board as case
manager for the Weld County Area Agency on Aging.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Jerry Kearney, Tom Zeleny, Bruce Holamon, Sretta Clark, Brad
Grantham, Dave Gibson, and Judith Knapp, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Long Term
Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2001; that Terry Kearns be,
and hereby is, appointed to the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with her term to expire
January 1, 1999; that Charles Connell, Dee Perkins, Janis McCall, and Charles Weishaupt be,
and hereby are, reappointed to the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to
expire January 1, 2000; and that Erica Farson be, and hereby is, appointed to the Long Term
Care Bio-Ethics Committee as the case manager for the Weld County Area Agency on Aging.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of March, A.D., 1998.
