RE APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN MICHAELS TO WELD COUNTY REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County Regional Communications
Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Michaels, Windsor Chief of Police, be
appointed to said board representing Police Zone 1, to replace Randall Jacobson of Milliken, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint John Michaels to said board, with his
term to expire December 31, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that John Michaels, Windsor Chief of Police, be, and hereby is, appointed to the
Weld County Regional Communications Advisory Board representing Police Zone 1, with his term
to expire December 31, 1995.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 13th day of September, A.D., 1995.
