RE: ESTABLISHING THE NEIGHBORHOOD TO BE SERVED, DESIGNATING A
COMMISSIONER TO MAKE ON-SITE INSPECTION AND SETTING THE HEARING
DATE CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF DOROTHY ZITEK, DBA HEREFORD
PACKAGE LIQUOR, FOR A RETAIL LIQUOR STORE LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public
meeting on the 11th day of May, 1998, heard evidence to assist said Board in establishing the
neighborhood to be served, designating the Commissioner to make the on-site inspection, and
setting the hearing date concerning the application of Dorothy Zitek, dba Hereford Package
Liquor, 39520 Weld County Road 136, Hereford, Colorado 80732, for a Retail Liquor Store
License, and
WHEREAS, the Board did determine that the following described area should comprise
the neighborhood to be served concerning said application, to-wit:
All of Sections 20 through 29, and Sections 32 through 36,
Township 12 North, Range 62 West; and all of Sections 1
through 12, Township 11 North, Range 62 West of the 6th
P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board further determined that Commissioner Baxter should be
designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application, and
WHEREAS, the Board further determined that the hearing to consider said application
shall be scheduled for June 1, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the above described area be, and hereby is, established as the
neighborhood to be served concerning the application of Dorothy Zitek, dba Hereford Package
Liquor, for a Retail Liquor Store License.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Commissioner Baxter be, and hereby
is, designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date concerning said
application be, and hereby is, scheduled for June 1, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.

NOTICE

Pursuant to the Liquor Laws of the State of Colorado, Dorothy Zitek, dba Hereford Package
Liquor, 39520 Weld County Road 136, Hereford, Colorado 80732, has requested the licensing
officials of Weld County, Colorado, to grant a Retail Liquor Store License for sale in sealed
containers not for consumption at place where sold.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has declared that the
neighborhood to be served will be as follows:
All of Sections 20 through 29, and Sections 32 through 36, Township 12 North,
Range 62 West; and all of Sections 1 through 12, Township 11 North, Range 62
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
The hearing on said license will be held in the first floor assembly room, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado, on June 1, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
All persons wishing to testify regarding said Retail Liquor Store license are encouraged to
attend said hearing. Petitions and remonstrances may be filed in the Office of the Clerk to the
Board of County Commissioners, located in the Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street,
Greeley, Colorado.

SUBJECT: Retail Liquor Store License Application - Dorothy Zitek
Our office has received an application for a Retail Liquor Store License from Dorothy Zitek, dba
Hereford Package Liquor, 39520 Weld County Road 136, Hereford, Colorado 80732. All
application requirements have been met and all fees have been paid. Due to publication and
posting requirements, I recommend the hearing be set for Monday, June 1, 1998, at 9:00 a.m.
A Tavern Liquor License is currently held in another portion of the same building by Mark Zitek,
dba Hereford's Bar and Grill, and the neighborhood to be served for that license was established
as follows:
All of Sections 20 through 29, and Sections 32
through 36, Township 12 North, Range 62 West; and
all of Sections 1 through 12, Township 11 North,.
Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado.
