RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Donald Feldhaus be appointed to said board
to replace Wilbert Wiedeman; Mary Jane Lang to replace Suzanne Listemann; Don Beirbach to
replace Chalon Renfro; Mary Jones to replace Marilyn Peterson; and Mary Eastwood to replace
John Espinoza, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bernie Olivas and John Cruz be appointed
due to an expansion of membership allowed by by-laws, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Riesberg be reappointed to said
board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Donald Feldhaus, Mary Jane Lang,
Don Beirbach, and Bernie Olivas to said board, with their terms to expire January 31, 2001; to
appoint John Cruz and Mary Jones, with their terms to expire January 31, 2000; and to appoint
Mary Eastwood, with her term to expire January 31, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint James Riesberg to said board,
with his term to expire January 31, 2001, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Donald Feldhaus, Mary Jane Lang, Don Beirbach, and Bernie
Olivas, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Area Agency on Aging with their terms to expire
January 31, 2001; that John Cruz and Mary Jones be, and hereby are, appointed to the Area
Agency on Aging, with their terms to expire January 31, 2000; that Mary Eastwood be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Area Agency on Aging, with her term to expire January 31, 2001;
and that James Riesberg be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging, with his
term to expire January 31, 2001.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of March, A.D., 1998.
