Home My WebLink About670166.tiffIN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING CHANGED ELECTION PRECINCT BOUNDARIES IN WELD COUNTY COLORADO - WHEREAS, Weld County School District RE -7 has deemed it best to discontinue the use of its unit know as the Kuner School, and WHEREAS, light, heat, and water are no longer available in the school house that formerly housed this unit, and was also used as a polling place in Election Precinct #20, and WHEREAS, there is no other suitable polling place in the said Election Precinct #20, and WHEREAS, it appears that changes in the boundaries of certain precincts will supply the needed polling places and better meet the needs of the voters residing there in, and it is desirable andnecessarythat the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, now consider and determine to establish such modifications in the designated precincts of Weld County, Colorado. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Precinct #20 Weld County, Colorado, shall consist of that area within the following described boundary lines: Com- mencing at a point on the East quarter corner of Section 5, Township 6, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence West Ten miles, more or less, to the West quarter corner of Section 2, Township 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence North One -Half mile, more or less, to the Northeast corner of Section 3, Town- ship 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence West One mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said Section 3, thence South One mile, more or less, to the Southwest corner thereof, thence West one mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of Section 9, Township 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence South Two and One -Half miles, more or less, to the East quarter corner of Section 20, in said Township and Range, thence West One -Half mile, more or less, to the center of said Section 20, thence South One -Half mile, more or less, to the South quarter corner of said Section 20, thence East One -Half mile, more or less, to tae Northwest corner of Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence South One -Half mile, more or less, to the West quarter corner thereof, thence West One -Half mile, more or less, to the center of Section 29, Township 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence South One mile, more or lass, to the center of Section 32 in said Township and 670166 Range, thence West One Fourth mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 32, thence South One -Half mile, more or less, to the Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 32, thence 'Jest One -Fourth mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of Section 5, Township 5, North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., thence South One mile,more or less to a point of intersection of the West line of said Sections with the center line of the South Platte River, thence Southeasterly along the center line of the South Flatte River to a point which is the intersection of the center line of the South Platte River with the North line of Section 34, Township 5 North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M., thence East One and Three Quarter miles, more of less, to the Northeast corner of Section 35, Township 5 North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M., thence South to a point of intersection with the center line of the South Platte River, thence Southeasterly along the center line of the South Platte River to its point of intersection with the East line of Section 22, Township 4 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence North Nine and One - Quarter miles, more or less, to the Northeast corner of Section 3, Township 5 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence West one mile to the Northwest corner of Section 3, Township 5 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence North Two miles to the Northeast corner of Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence West One mile to the Northwest corner of Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., thence North Three and One -Half miles, more or less, to a point on the East quarter corner of Section 5, Township 6 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., which is the point of begin- ning.
