RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND FOR GIS (GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM)
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the GIS (Geographical Information
System) Department that a Change Fund in the amount of $50.00 be established, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Comptroller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a Change Fund in the amount of$50.00 be, and hereby is, established for
the GIS (Geographical Information System) Department.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 13th day of September, A.D., 1999.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Change fund
It has come to my attention that the GIS unit will be responsible
for the sale of all maps previously handled by the Assessors
office . Because of this switch of responsibility, the GIS unit
will need a change fund of $50 . 00 to handle the customers . This
memo is a formal request to be forwarded to the Board of County
Commissioners to acquire their concurrence to the implementation of
the change fund for GIS . The responsible party will be Judi Boeck
of SCT. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact
me .
