RE: INCREASE PETTY CASH FUND AT NORTH JAIL COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has received a request from the Sheriffs Department that the Petty
Cash Fund in the amount of$200.00 be increased to $500.00 for the North Jail Complex, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Comptroller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Petty Cash Fund in the amount of$200.00 be, and hereby is, increased
to $500.00 for the Sheriffs Office, North Jail Complex.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of February, A.D., 1998.

Subject: Cash box at North Jail Complex
Claud, We are requesting to increase the balance of the cash box at NJC from the current$200 to$500. This is
needed to allow a comfortable balance to insure we have ample funds to carry us through the weekends. We have
come close to exhausting the current$200 fund while making change for bonds during the weekends and feel the
addition is needed. If this is possible, please contact Marilyn Bedford at ext. 3958 to make the change. Thank you,
