NOS. 258/1957, 258/1958, 260/1958,
261/1958, 262/1958, 263/1958 and 264/1958:
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer, Charles 0. Bursiel, has requested
authorization to cancel County tax sale certificates No. 258 of the 1957 tax
sale and Nos. 258, 260, 261, 262, 263 and 264 of the 1958 tax sale; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
believes it to be in the best interests of the County to cancel said tax sale
certificates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the County Treasurer, Charles 0. Bursiel, be and
he is hereby authorized to cancel County tax sale certificates No. 258 of the
1957 tax sale and Nos. 258, 260, 261, 262, 263 and 264 of the 1958 tax sale
covering the leasehold interests on the NE1NWtNE* of Section 26, Township 2 North,
Range 63 West of the 6th P. M..
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following votes

Dear Sirs:
In 1957 there appeared on my books an assessment as follows:
Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel #1) and
in 1958 there appeared six leaseholds in NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26
T2 R63 (Mitzel #1). These assessments were not paid and they went
to tax sale and(County Certificate No. 258 of the 1957 tax sale,
was iseuad and County Certificates Nos. 258, 260, 261, 262, 263,
and 264 of the 1958 tax sale) were issued.
Since there is no prospect of getting these redeemed and
the leaseholds are no longer being assessed because the wells no
longer exist, I ask you for a resolution to cancel:
County Certificate #258/1957 for 1956 taxes with 1957 taxes endorsed
thereon ,on Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4o Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel
#1) and County Certificates Nos. 258/1958 for the 1957 taxes on
Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel #1),
County Certificate No. 260/1958 for the 1957 taxes on Leasehold Interest
NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel #1) and County Certificate
No. 261/1958 for the 1957 taxes on Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4:
Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel #1) and County Certificate No. 262/1958 for
the 1957 taxes on Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63
(Mitzel #1) and County Certificate No. 263/1958 for the 1957 taxes on
Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63 (Mitzel #1) and
Leasehold Interest NE1/4NW1/4NE1/4: Sec 26 T2 R63 ( Mitzel #1), County
Certificate No. 264/1958 for the 1957 taxes.
