September 13. 1998 Gate will open at 6 am for sign-up. Racing should begin around 8:30 a.m. and continue until approximately 6 p.m. 4. Maximum number of persons to be allowed at assembly at any one time: There is no maximum number of persons. We expect 300 to 600 people. 5. Identify the plans for providing separate toilet facilities for males and females, including the source, number, and location, type and the means of disposing of wastes deposited: Two permanent toilets and one handicapped accessible toilet are located in the retail/sign-up building, located to the east of the parking lot. In addition, Accommodation ,Sanitation, PO Box 5261, Greeley CQ, provides 2 to 5 portable units at each event, through a rental arrangement. They service the units on a weekly or week-end basis. 9. identify the plans for holding, collecting, and disposing of solid waste materials: Disposal of waste is taken care of by Accommodation Sanitation, In addition, trash is picked by by Bunting Trash Management, Evans, CO. 10. Identify the plans to provide for medical facilities, including the location and construction of any structures, the names, addresses, and hours of availability of emergency medical technicians and nurses and provisions for emergency ambulance service All AMA sanctioned races require emergency medical units be on site for the entire day. The contracted company for all RMXA events is Rocky Mountain Fire and Rescue Service, 8061 Quebec St. , Commerce City, CO 80022. This company calls another ambulance for transport in the event of an accident. The last two races (4/5/98 and 5/3/98) no one was injured, and no one was transported. 11. Identify the plans, if any, to illuminate the location of the assembly, including the source and amount of power, and the location of lamps: N/A event is daytime only. qM 7 7 12. Identify the plans for parking vehicles, including size and location of lots, points of highway access and interior roads, including routes between highway access and parking lots: Approximately 4 acres has been leveled and •raveled as required by Weld County Public Works. In addition, vehicles may park vertical to the driveways coming onto the property. Access to the property is off Hwy. 60, then County Road 19, both of which are paved. Driveways are graveled and maintained. Signage indicating spectator parking is placed along the drives, plus persons who attend the gate give directions as to where to park. Rick Bauer, Weld Ceun-ty Sheerff's Dept. came out to inopeet the property and could see no problems with people lining up on the county roads to come in or to exit. 13. Identify the plans for communications with hospital, police, and fire services, including the source, amount, and location of communication equipment: Rick Bauer is notified because we have to provide security - he notifies the Sheriff's department. I let the Johnstown police know that people • • rvi eeq if they are needed. We also have 2-way radios on site, to identify any sort of problem, if it should arise. 14. Identify the plans for camping facilities, if any: N/A event is daytime only 15. Identify the plans for fire protection: The event is held outdoors on dirt. Parking lots are graveled. Identify the plans for security, including the number of guards, their deployment, their names, addresses, credentials and hours of availability and description of peer group control, if any: The Ordinance No. 85 Permit for Temporary Assembly requires to to hire two security persons for every 500 people assembled. They walk around the site of the race, insure no pets and no alcohol are present, and talk to persons who park across County Road 19 and ask them to move. The AMA handbook of rules for all sanctioned events states; "6. Each rider is responsible for the actions of his family and pit crew. Any unnecessary trouble caused by these individuals puts that rider at risk of disqualification." There is a referee and AMA officials at every race to mediate any disputes. 17, Identify the plans for sound control and sound amplification, if any, including number, location, and power of amplifiers and speakers: Five 30 amp speakers have been installed at the east of the property, to provide information to the riders and spectators as the races proceed.
