BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that a spur connection from State Highway #257 east to State Highway
#16 known as the Windsor Cut-off be and is hereby vacated as County Road #339;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Windsor Cut-off be -declared a
State Highway designating same on the Secondary Federal Aid System.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

REQUESTING COLORADO STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
TO ACCEPT COUNTY ROAD #339, KNOWN AS THE WINDSOR CUT-OFF:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, request the Colorado State Department of Highways to accept County Road
4/339, located in Section 2, Township 5 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P. M.,
(approximately lfmile) which connects U. S Hwy #34 and State Highway #257, also
known as the Windsor Cut-off, and designate same on the Secondary Federal Aid.
System.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following resolution.

Approved November 27, 1962
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED, that State Highway No. 257 in Weld
Cqunty be relocated to follow the alignment of Projects
Nos. S 0057(2) and S 0057(3), and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,, that all portions of the
old highway relocated by the construction are hereby
abandoned as a part of the State Highway System,
effective November 27, 1962.

v Enclosed is one copy each of Resolutions Nos. 1041-C, 1058-C and
1072-C, approved November 27, 1962 by the State Highway Commission,
effective November 27, 1962, in connection with State Highway routings
in Weld County. Portions of the Weld County map which have been colored
to indicate the additions and deletions to the State Highway System
resulting therefrom, are also enclosed for your information and file.
The 1953 Colorado Statutes Annotated, Chapter 202, Section 6,
states that the right-of-way of all abandoned portions of a State
Highway shall revert to the adjacent property owners, unless the aban-
doned portion is necessary for use as a public highway. /If it is
desired by your Board that the abandoned portion should remain public
highway, your Board should submit within ninety (90) days of abandonment,
the necessary resolution to add it to your County Road System.
