We request that additional time be added to the contract time allowed for the completion
of this project. The number of days requested and the reasons these extra days are being
requested are as follows:
(1) There was an increase of 51% in the amount of H-piling driven from the stated
contract amount.
Days added to completion date 15 days
(2) The water table was higher than normal during key phases of pier construction
causing delays.
Days added to completion date 14 days
(3) Additional items added to the project:
321 tons of asphalt
Base preparation for asphalt
Surveying necessary for base preparation
Days added to completion date 4 days
TOTAL DAYS REQUESTED 33 days
