ESTABLISH PEST CONTROL DISTRICT
LOST CREEK PEST CONTROL DISTRICT:
TERMINATION DATE SEPTEMBER 1, 1968:
WHEREAS, petitioners appeared before the Board of County Commissioners
Weld County, Colorado, requesting formation of a pest control district pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 6, Article 5, Colorado Revised Statutes of 1963,
as amended, and
WHEREAS, the petitioners being resident landowners within a contiguous
territory and being desirous of forming a pest control district, the Board having
heard the statement of the persons and now being fully informed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado that the Extension Service be directed to proceed with
spraying, dusting or whatever means need be employed to eradicate the grasshoppers
to protect the land from total ruin.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

All lands in Sections, 1, 12, 13, 24 in Township 3, Range 64; and sections 1
through 36, except section 31 in Township 3, Range 63; Sections 4, 5 & 8 in Township
2, Range 63; Sections 17, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 in
Township 4, Range 63; Sections 25, 26, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 in Township
4, Range 62; All of Township 3, Range 62, except section 34, 35 and 36; and sections
4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19 and 30 in Township 3, Range 61.
PETITION
For the Establishment of a
PEST CONTROL DISTRICT
To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners
of the County of

State of Colorado:
We, the undersigned petitioners, constituting at least twenty-five
per cent of the resident landowners within a contiguous territory in said
county, and being desirous of forming a pest control district pursuant to
the provisions of Chapter 6, Article 5, Colorado Revised Statutes of 1963,
as amended, do hereby petition said Board of County Commissioners for that
purpose and represent as follows:
1. That the proposed district is to be known as the
bell 604 Pest Control District.
2. That the description of the boundaries of the proposed district
is as follows:
3. That the said proposed district has been invaded, or is in danger
of being invaded, by noxious weeds, insect pests, or plant diseases, injuri-
ous to agricultural crops, trees, fruits or pasture.
4. That the specific pest or diseases Lagainst which said petitioners

5. That the termination date of the proposed district is

(Optional) It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners
take charge of and supervise the work in connection with the control or
eradication of the pest or pests named.
7. That each person signing the petition owns five (5) or more acres
of land within the boundaries of the proposed district and has his legal
residence within this county or within an adjacent county in the State of.
Colorado; that a description of the land owned by each petitioner within
the boundaries of the proposed district, together with the proper signature
and address of each such petitioner and the date of signing this petition,
