Gentlemen:
July 22, 1995
Yesterday I drove out to look at our wheat (Section 6-8-67W).
The southwest corner of the section has road signs saying 96 and 13,
and I am not sure of the number of the county road that goes east
at that point (along the south edge of Section 6).
The road has not been graded and had ravines a foot deep. It
is my understanding that this is a county road and that it should be
maintained by the county. We've owned the land for about 15 years and
have never seen the road this bad. Could you please get after your
road crews to at least grade this road? Thanks.

The road is currently just a
trail road which is maintained one to two times per year. Dave Becker and I will look at
the road to see if it is feasable to upgrade.

RESPONSE:
I drove by this address and didn't see a big problem. The operator will
reblade next week on a regular maintenance schedule. He will not leave a ridge over
6" tall

Narrative:
Matt Fosher, Motorgrader Foreman, talked with Mrs. Brinks on the phone in
July regarding this road. She now understands that the road is a seasonal
road that is only maintained by the County a couple of times a year to
keep it passable for harvest, etc. She was satisfied with the explanation.
