Commissioner Hall,
I am writing this letter in regards to the subdivision,
proposed by John Martin, located on W.C.R. #35 one mile south
of highway 52. I did not, like some of my neighbors, receive
notice of this proposed project. I am therefore delinquent in
my response. However, I feel I must let my opinion be known. I
strongly oppose any degradation of the rural lifestyle we
enjoy. I realize that the influx of people and the desire of
developers to cash in on the situation puts pressure on
counties for increased development. Development threatens our
seclusion, the reason we moved far from town. Therefore, if
housing is truly needed the best solution to meet the demands
of the increasing population and retain the rural lifestyle
would be to require a minimum plot size of 20 acres.
