Dear Mr. Cope:
The Weld County Health (WCHD) and Planning (WCPD) Departments have reviewed your
February 25, 1998, letter concerning the construction of the containment pond at the Husker
Dairy. As you are aware, the submittal of this letter was a condition of the Resolution of the
Show Cause Hearing which was held on November 5, 1997.
The WCHD and WCPD have found this submittal to meet condition#2 of the Resolution. As
required by condition #3 of the Resolution, we look forward to receiving your final project report
by May 1, 1998.
In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the WCHD has not received a
response to our November 12, 1997, letter concerning available acreage to dispose of process
waste water. This item must be adequately addressed in your final project report.
