RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1107 FOR
WHOLESALE USED VEHICLE SALES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
HUBERT L. AND MARGARET O. COLLINS
A public hearing was conducted on April 3, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 13, 1996, and duly published March 21, 1996,
in the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Hubert L. and
Margaret O. Collins for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for wholesale
used vehicle sales in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney,
made this a matter of record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, presented a brief
summary of the proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission
into the record as written, except for the deletion of Condition of Approval #4 which the applicants
have already met. She noted the use is existing, and this Permit will allow the applicants to comply
with the Zoning Ordinance. Hubert and Margaret Collins, applicants, were present and agreed to
comply with all Conditions of Approval and Development Standards. No public testimony was
offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Harbert moved to approve the request of Hubert L.
and Margaret O. Collins for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for
wholesale used vehicle sales in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the recommendations
of the Planning staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of Approval and
Development Standards as entered into the record and amended by staff. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Webster, and it carried unanimously.
