RE: APPROVE CONTRACT FOR WELD COUNTY WEB SITE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Contract for the Weld County Web
Page between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and Clark and Thompson Online Services, with terms and
conditions being as stated in said contract, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said contract, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Contract for the Weld County Web Page between the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and Clark and Thompson Online Services be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said contract.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of March, A.D., 1999.

per our pervious discussions, the web site would consist of the following

• up to 75 Informational Pages
• Publishing Access for specific departments
• 1 Email Form Page with a customized CGI program
• Graphics: Scanned & Customized
The bid for this site is $8250.00, and a contract is enclosed.

World Wide Web Site
Design, Development, and Implementation
The Weld County Web Site will be designed using the materials and specifications agreed
to between Clark and Thompson Online Services, Inc. and Weld County. The total cost for
complete implementation of the Web Site will be $8,250.00.
Web Site Development and Payment Schedule:
• Web Site Stage 1: Design scheme of Weld County Web Site and payment of 25%
deposit.
Web Site Stage 1: payment due : $2,062.50.
• Web Site Stage 2: Completion of graphics and text information contained within
Web Site information pages. Final implementation of color schemes and
backgrounds per customer approval. Completion of all internal links and external
links.
Web Site Stage 2: Payment due upon completion : $6,187.50.
Further Web Site development will be provided at the rate stated below.
• $85 per hour. All jobs done at an hourly rate will be estimated and authorized by the
customer before starting work. When work is completed, the customer will review
the work and have an opportunity to correct typographical errors, phone numbers,
addresses, etc. at no charge. However, additional content changes will be done at the
standard hourly rate.
Work will proceed when the authorized signatures are provided below, and the 25% deposit
is received.
