RE: APPROVE CONDITIONAL SALES AGREEMENT WITH WHEELED COACH FOR
PURCHASE OF USED AMBULANCE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Conditional Sales Agreement for the
purchase of a used ambulance between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Ambulance
Service, and Wheeled Coach, with terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Conditional Sales Agreement for the purchase of a used
ambulance between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Ambulance Service, and
Wheeled Coach be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said agreement and any other necessary documents.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of July, A.D., 1996.

SUBJECT: Used Ambulance
The Ambulance Service budgeted for a new ambulance that can be used for a variety of services,
such as wheelchair , handicap, or eldercare type transports or services. Because of the new
service and ambulance type a demonstration model was tried from Wheel Coach. The demo
vehicle worked very well for the Ambulance Service during the trail period. The company, Wheel
Coach, has made an offer to sell the used demo vehicle for $58,500, which is a savings of
$6,454.00. The vehicle has approximately 10,000 miles on it. The Ambulance Service is
requesting to accept the offer and purchase it by Board resolution under the used equipment
purchase policy.
Pat Persichino and I concur and recommend approval to purchase as used equipment.

Enclosed is a copy of the "conditional sales agreement" sent to us by Wheeled Coach Industries,
Inc. Ken Carpenter, the District Service Manager was the person who created this bid. His
phone number is 1-303-295-2450 if you have any question concerning the vehicle since it is
considered a "demonstrator" with approximately 10,000 miles on it.
