RE: APPROVE GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR PERMANENT NON-EXCLUSIVE COUNTY
ROAD AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - GREELEY-WELD COUNTY AIRPORT
AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Grant of Easement for a Permanent
Non-Exclusive County Road between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Public Works
Department, and the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority, 600 Crosier Avenue, Greeley,
Colorado 80631, with terms and conditions being as stated in said grant of easement, for
property described n the attached Exhibit A and shown on the attached Exhibit B, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said grant of
easement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Grant of Easement for a Permanent Non-Exclusive County
Road between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Public Works Department, and Greeley-Weld
County Airport Authority be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said grant of easement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of April, A.D., 1999.

GRANT OF EASEMENT
THIS EASEMENT, granted this ALA day of April, 1999, between the Greeley-Weld
County Airport Authority, whose legal address is 600 Crosier Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631
of the County of Weld , State of Colorado, the Grantor, and, the County of Weld, a body
corporate and politic of the State of Colorado, whose legal address is 915 10th Street, Greeley,
Colorado 80631 of the County of Weld , and State of Colorado, the Grantee.
WITNESSETH, that the Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of$1.00 dollar and
other good and valuable consideration, paid to the Grantor by the Grantee, the receipt and
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, and convey to the
Grantee an easement for the purposes of a permanent, non-exclusive county road, to be used by
and open to the public, over and across the following described parcel of real property situate in
the County of Weld, and State of Colorado, to wit:
All of the real property described in the attached Exhibit"A," and shown on the attached
Exhibit "B."
This Easement is considered to be an"easement in gross" for the benefit of the public and
is permanent.
The Grantee agrees to repair and maintain the easement granted herein at the cost and
expense of the Grantee.

DESCRIPTION OF NON-EXCLUSIVE ROAD EASEMENT IN
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
Two Parcels ofland;Parcel One being in the East Half of the Southwest Quarter(E 1/2,SW 1/4) and
Parcel Two being in the East Half of the Northwest Quarter(E1/2,NW1/4) of Section Twenty-six
(26);Township Six North(6N),Range Sixty-five West(65W)of the Sixth Principal Meridian;said
parcels are within the boundaries of Greeley-Weld County Airport as described with the document
titled Exhibit A,dared February, 1996,and said parcels contain a combined area of0.403 acres more
or less, and being more particularly and separately described as follows:
PARCEL ONE
Beginning at the Center of said Section 26;
thence,North 89°44'20"West along the north boundary of the E1/2 of the SW1/4of
said Section 26 a distance of 1,134.61 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence leaving said north boundary line South 01°49' 02" East a distance of 55.04
feet;
thence, North 89°44'20" West a distance of 150.10 feet;
thence North 01° 49' 02" West a distance of 55.04 feet to i point on the north
boundary of the E1/2 of the SW1/4 of said Section 26;
thence, along said north boundary South 89°44' 20" East a distance of 150.10 feet
to the true point of beginning.
