the purchase of oil or gas.

The undersigned authorizes HS RESOURCES, INC.to withhold from the proceeds of any and all production referred to herein the amount of any tax

I am in receipt of your letter dated March 23, 1999 regarding the captioned Division Order. I
have enclosed copies of applicable pages from our Supplemental Drilling and Division. Order
Title Opinion dated February 25, 1999 for your reference.
Weld County's interest is apparently derived from an oil and gas lease from Helmer Getz and
Josephine T. Getz, husband and wife to T. S. Pace. Weld County, Colorado is successor in
interest to Edith Jean Chavers, to 50% of all production of oil and gas from wells completed after
September 5, 1986 as set forth in Warranty Deed dated September 5, 1986, recorded at Book
1127, Reception No. 2068408.

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, recently received a Division
Order from H.S. Resources, Inc., for the HSR-Watada 11-18A well located in the West half of
Section 18-1-66. A copy of that Division Order is enclosed.
I have asked the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners Office to research this Division
Order. Unfortunately, the Clerk's Office can find no file for this well. I therefore respectfully
request that you provide me with any information you may have as to which Weld County lease
this Division Order pertains.

If your social security number or tax identification number is not shown, please provide the number. Failure to provide
the number may result in a 20%withholding of your production proceeds, as required by law, and you also could be subject to a
penalty imposed by the Internal Revenue Service.
Please fill in your daytime phone number and fax number if any.
Verify that your mailing address is correct. If it is incorrect, please note your correct address.
If the interest is owned by a corporation, the Division Order must be signed by a duly authorized officer and attested. The
corporate seal must be affixed and the title of the signing officer shown.
If the interest is owned by a partnership, the Division Order must be signed by the general partner or managing partner and
evidence of such authority to sign must be furnished.
If the Division Order is signed by anyone other than the named owner, such as an agent, attorney-in-fact or guardian, evidence
of authority must be provided.
