RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Michael Guthrie be appointed to said board,
to replace Carl Harvey as the Police Zone 2 representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Michaels, Police Zone 1 representative,
and Terry Joseph, Fire Zone C representative, be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Michael Guthrie to said board, with
his term to expire December 31, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint John Michaels and Terry Joseph
to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Michael Guthrie be, and hereby is, appointed to the Regional
Communications Advisory Board, with his term to expire December 31, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that John Michaels and Terry Joseph be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Regional
Communications Advisory Board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of December, A.D., 1998.
