RE: ACCEPT SUBDIVISION STREETS FOR FULL MAINTENANCE -DOS RIOS, SECOND
FILING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board, by Resolution on August 14, 1995, did approve the dedication of
the perpetual rights-of-way over the public roads, streets, highways, and easements on behalf
of the public in Dos Rios, Second Filing, provided that the County of Weld would not undertake
maintenance of said streets, roads, and rights-of-way until they have been constructed by the
subdivider according to specifications and accepted by the County of Weld, and
WHEREAS, the developer has completed construction of Granjero Road, Arado Way,
and Poste Viejo Lane in accordance with the original plans, and
WHEREAS, upon inspection by the Engineering Department, said streets were found to
satisfy Weld County standards, and are recommended for acceptance by Weld County for full
maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to accept said streets for full maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Granjero Road, Arado Way, and Poste Viejo Lane in Dos Rios
Subdivision, Second Filing, be, and hereby are, accepted for full maintenance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Board of County Commissioners shall
accept said streets as public facilities and County property, and shall be responsible for the full
maintenance of said streets, including repairs.

COLORADO SUBJECT: S-346; Dos Rios, Second Filing (Phase I Improvements)
Acceptance for Full Maintenance
The Weld County Public Works Department is recommending that the Board of Weld County Commissioners
accept Dos Rios, Second Filing (Phase I Improvements) for full maintenance. All of the construction and
improvements have been in place for at least one year. The paving, culverts, and drainage have been reinspected
and we have no conflict with any of these items.
We are recommending that Granjero Road, Arado Way, and Poste Viejo Lane be placed on the county system for
full maintenance.
