Dear Commissioner Kirkmeyer:
RE: Busker Dairy Expansion - USR#1202
In reference to my referral of the square mileage area that was mentioned in
Wednesday's meeting with the Busker Dairy Expansion; please find a copy of the over
100 square mile reference of the Frederick, Firestone, Dacono, Erie & MUD urban
growth boundary areas. (Actually, this area is probably even larger, as I don't think it
reflects the added areas of the MUD boundaries, and I've also think Erie has expanded
their UGB's.)
The denial of this permit sets a very dangerous precedence in this entire 100 sq.
mile area for future agricultural operations to expand. I would hope the Commissioners
review the Agricultural sections in the Comprehensive Plan -- and what about the Right to
Farm Covenant?
I hope you will share this map and letter with the other Commissioners, and then
add it to the above mentioned Busker Dairy USR #1202.
