As a landowner of property within 500 feet of the proposed
development I wish to express my deep concern and dismay
about the noise pollution which will result from this
operation if equipment is allowed to operate from 6 A.M.
until 10 P.M. at night .
Please note that there is significant residential development
in this area already and while the existing homeowners may
not have a legal right to protest, noise pollution would
have a significant adverse impact on the ability of these
homeowners to enjoy their property. I believe county
authorities should keep in mind that development which
lowers the quality of life for residents in the area will
also lower property values - and hence lower the tax revenue
which the county can receive.
I urge the Weld County authorities to restrict operation
of the noisey equipment to a more tolerable time frame such
as 6 A.M. to 4 : 00 P.M.
