RE: APPROVE CERTIFICATION OF PROJECT COMPLETION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Certification of Project Completion
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Housing Authority, and the State
of Colorado, Department of Local Affairs, with terms and conditions being as stated in said
certification, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said certification, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, ex-officio Housing Authority Board, that the Certification of Project
Completion between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Housing Authority, and
the State of Colorado, Department of Local Affairs, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said certification.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of March, A.D., 1998.

I hereby certify that all activities undertaken with funds provided under the above identified
Contract have, to the best of my knowledge, been carried out in accordance with all
provisions of the Contract. I also hereby confirm that the total amount of CDBG funds
expended under the Contract is$265.344, as previously reported in the final Financial Status
Report dated December 7, 1997, and hereby agree that the State of Colorado has provided
payments totaling this amount and is under no obligation to make any additional payment
under the Contract

SUBJECT: Certification of Project Completion
COLORADO DATE: March 18, 1998
As discussed at the Housing Authority Work Session of March 16, 1998, the State requires that
upon completion of a CDBG or HOME contract, a Certification of Project Completion must be
approved upon acceptance of the final audit of the Contract. The audit has been accepted and
Contract C856115 has been officially closed out.
Staff is recommending Board approval of the Certification of Project Completion for the
Contract.
