7Y RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT#69 - LAUREN FELTE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #700359, dated October 14, 1970, the Board did approve
Special Use Permit #69 for expansion of a feedlot operation for Henry Felte on the following
described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the SW'/ of Section 1, Township 6 North,
Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services staff recommended the vacation of
Special Use Permit #69 due to a request from Lauren Felte, current owner, to vacate said
permit since the permitted operation is no longer in operation, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Special Use Permit#69 be, and hereby is, vacated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of June, A.D., 1999.

SUBJECT: Vacation of SUP-69 /
The Department of Planning Services' staff recommends vacating SUP-69, for the expansion of
a feedlot for the following reasons:
1. The property owner, Lauren Felte, has sent a letter requesting the Special Review Permit be
vacated.
2. The use (a feedlot) is no longer occurring on the property.
3. A Recorded Exemption (RE-2475) was approved by the Department of Planning Services
and a condition of approval was to vacate the above referenced permit.
