NOTICE OF Al ENDNENT OF REGULATION'
The Colcradc State Board of Health by action taken on June 13, 1960 amended
Section 701.2, hinimum Standards For Nursing Homes, Homes For The Aged and
Other Similar Health Establishments adopted August 1:51777577-.
The amendment reads as follows:
"701.2 - STRUCTURAL AND FIRE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR EXISTING HEALTH
ESTABLISHMENT.
"All licensed health establishments in existence as of August 10,
1959 shall conform with the requirement s of the Building Exits
Code, Fourteenth Edition, N.F.P.A. 1.01-1957 except that in .respect
to space area requirements for multiple sleeping rooms the rocn.s
shall have a miniriwil of 75 square feet per pereon for- at least 60
percent of the residents housed in the 1 i eensed unit and 65 square
feet per person for the remaining 40 per.Jent of the residents
housed in the licensed unit. For single ooeupant rooms the minimum
area requirement shall be 75 square feet."
The effective date of this amendment is August 10, 1960.

This notice is made in compliance with the provisions of Section 2,
Chapter 37, Colorado Session Laws 1959.
