BOUNDARIES IN THE COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF COLORADO:
WHEREAS, voter registration requirements for regular biennial school
elections or for special school elections shall be the same as those governing
general elections, (House Bill Number 1018 Section 6-2), and
WHEREAS, the County Clerk of each County, prior to the time of holding
any regular biennial school election or special school election in said school
district, shall make a full and complete copy of the list of the registered electors
of each school election precinct of each school district or districts located within
his county, and
WHEREAS, these lists can be made accurately and efficiently only by the
re -location of certain election precinct boundary lines, and it is desirable and
necessary that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, now
consider, determine and establish such modifications in the election precincts
of Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Precinct 34 in Weld County shall comprise that area
within the following described boundaries commencing at a point of the East Weld
County boundary line which is the northeast corner of Section 1, T. 5 N., Rge 61 W,
thence South along the east boundary line of Weld County, a distance of twenty-two
and one-half (22i) miles, more or less, to the east quarter corner of Section 25,
T. 2 N, Rge 61 W.; thence west two and one-half miles, more or less to the center
of Section 27, T. 2 N., Rge 61 W., thence north four and one-half (4-) miles, more
or less, to the south quarter corner of Section 34, T. 3 N., Rge 61 W., thence
west three and one-half (3f) miles, more or less, to the southwest corner of Section
31, T. 3 N., Rge 61 W., thence north six (6) miles, more or less, to the southwest
corner of Section 31, T. 4 N., Rge 61 W., thence West two (2) miles more or less,
to the southwest corner of Section 35, T. 4 N., Rge 62 W., thence north twelve (12)
miles, more or less, to the northwest corner of Section 2, T. 5 N., Rge 62 W., thence
east eight (8) miles, more or less, to the northeast corner of Section 1, T. 5 N.,
Rge 61 W., which is the place of beginning.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:
