1962, aid the office of the Board of County Coma issioners, Court House, Greeley.
John Watson called the meeting to order. Present were Art King, George Mosier, :rice
Hopkins, Tom Reed. Trafton Bean and Les Jayne ware also present.
The minutes of the special ;i:eeting and the regular meeting of April 9, 1962, were
read and approved as read.
The Eppinger Brothers presented First Spacious Acres for Preliminary Approval. These
are one acre lots. Les said there would no contours but otherwise it was o.k.
George Mosier moved that Preliminary Approval be given to First Spacious Acres. Sec-
onded by Art King. Carried.
Mr. Haley presented the Luther Sub -Division for Preliminary Approval. It is close
to Delta School. It is a five acre tract. There are two parcels that front on East
20th Street that already have buildings on them.
Les asked square footage on lots. They are not the required 133000 square feet.
After much discussion, Art King moved that Preliminary Approval be Given the Luther
Sub -Division subject to the usual clearance records and approval of the Health De-
partment before final approval is given. Seconded by George Mosier. Carried.
Haley presented the Stanton -Miller Sub -Division for Preliminary Approval. A:te
much discussion was given as some of the lots are not the required 13000 square ft.,
"Tc ge Mosier moved that Preliminary Approval be given to the Stanton -Miller Sub -
Division subject to the usual clearance records and approval of the Health Depart-
ment before final approval is given. Seconded by Mr. King.
Letter from Ben Cruce about Building Permit applications and zoning was read.
The following bills were presented for payment and approved for payment:
Trafton Bean and Associates - $79.67 and $98.90; Greeley Tribune - $17.43; City of
Greeley - $31.20; and Les Jayne $18.20.
Les presented the Highland Nursery Petition for Change of Zone. Sam 4 Telep was in
attendance at this time. He is going to study the Highland Nurseries possible via- '
lation of Zoning.
A Public Hearing for Change of Zoning of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block 13 High-
land Hills Subdivision, Weld County, Colorado, from "E" to "B" Zone will be held on
Monday, June 11, 1962, at 2:00 P. M. Notices are to be sent to the adjoining pro-
perty owners.
Price Hopkins moved that the Weld County Planning Commission Recommend to the Board
of County Commissioners the Amending of the Zoning Resolution creating an "0" Zone
and amend uses permitted in the "I" Zone. Seconded by Art King. Carried.
Price Hopkins moved that the 'Weld County Planning Commission recommend to the Board
of County Commissioners the approval of the Northeast Greeley Area Map as prepared
by Mr. Watson and Mr. Mosier and the text. Seconded by Art King. Carried.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 6:00 P. M.
