SHERIFF OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, due to the death of Robert A. Welsh, Sheriff of Weld County,
State of Colorado on November 16, 1966 a vacancy now exists in said office and
it is necessary for the Board of County Commissioners to appoint a Sheriff to
serve until the next general election, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners that
Richard Martinez fill said vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that Richard Martinez of Greeley, Weld County, Colorado is
hereby appointed Sheriff of Weld County to fill the vacancy until the next general
election, said appointment ending the second Tuesday of January, 1969.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:
