RE: APPOINTMENT OF JEAN GILLINGHAM AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the transfer of Linda M. Dodge, a need exists to appoint another
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board to rescind the appointment of Linda M. Dodge
as Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Jean Gillingham as Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Jean Gillingham be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the
Board, effective March 16, 1998.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Linda M. Dodge be,
and hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of March, A.D., 1998.
