RE: APPROVE EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR HIGHLAND DAY CARE CENTER WITH
COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Extension for the Contract, CDBG
C#8554923, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Highland Day Care Center, and the Colorado
Department of Local Affairs, with the project to be completed on or before April 30, 1996, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said contract, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said extension of
contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Extension for the Contract, CDBG C#8554923, between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Highland Day Care Center, and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said extension of contract.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of September, A.D., 1995.

Your request for an extension for the above contract is approved. The project must now be
completed on or before April 30, 1996.
Pursuant to Paragraph "11. Changes" on page 3 of 6 pages of your contract, all other provisions
of the Original Contract remain in effect except for this time extension.
To acknowledge your confirmation of this time extension, please sign in the space provided below
and return this letter within fifteen (15) days to:
