To whom it may concern,
We have lived at 16017 WCR 23 Platteville Colorado for
• 16 years. The proposed gravel pit would lie directly across
road 23 from our house and yard. We were never contacted of
this proposal',- only our landlords who do not live in this
area :
We have two children one is high school and drives on
this road, the other is 11 years old and rides his bike on -
this road. This proposal would not only disrupt our home
but the traffic would be very unsafe for our children as
well as all neighbors.
Weld County has just finished a road improvement
project on this particular stretch of road which has been
very nice. The added truck traffic would not do this road a
justice.
We hope. that you will reconsider any possibility of
granting this mining permit and disrupting our neighborhood .
