RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS TO EAST EATON WATER AND
SANITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1982, the Board of County Commissioners approved the
service plan for the East Eaton Water and Sanitation District ("the District"), and
WHEREAS, on June 25, 1982, Weld District Court Judge Robert Behrman by order
declared the District to be legally organized and appointed the District's first Board of Directors,
and
WHEREAS, by letter dated July 30, 1996, the Board of County Commissioners was
informed by the State of Colorado Division of Local Government that the District's Board of
Directors is now without members and, pursuant to the provisions of Section 32-1-905 (2.5),
C.R.S., there is a need for the Board of County Commissioners to formally appoint such
members so that the District's business may be conducted until a formal election for the Board
of Directors may be held, and
WHEREAS, those five eligible electors named below have consented to being
appointed as District directors until such time as new directors are duly elected and sworn into
office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the following "eligible electors" as that term is defined in Section
32-1-103 (5)(a), C.R.S., be, and hereby are, appointed to the Board of Directors for the East
Eaton Water and Sanitation District:

Antonio Rosalez 165 5th Street, Eaton, Colorado 80615

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that such appointment shall be for the
period of time between the date of appointment herein to and until such time as new directors
are duly elected and sworn into office.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of August, A.D., 1996.
