It was suggested by Mr. Marostica that for the remainder of the
year, services for the remaining group described above be paid for from public welfare funds,
specifically the item used to pay for services in Colorado General Hospital. The matter would
then be discussed in relationship to budgeting for 1963. This met the approval of the County
Board.
Sheriff Welsh was to contact a physician to provide services. A
fee of $5.00 for each visit was discussed a6 reasonable.
Billings are to be brought by the Sheriff to the Board and dis-
cussed with the Director of Public Welfare.
As there was no further business, the meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm.

WHEREAS, Anne L. Berglin dba Berglin Service, of Weld County,
Colorado has presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County her application
for a county retail license for the sale of 3.2% beer only, and the said applicant, having
paid to the County Treasurer of Weld County the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) therefore,
and having produced a state retail license for sale of 3.2% beer only, outside the corporate
limits of any town or city in the County of Weld, at the location described as follows:
5 miles Northeast of Brighton on Highway #6;
Route 1, Brighton, Colorado
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having examined the
said application and the other qualifications of the applicant do hereby grant License Num-
ber 728 to said applicant to sell 3.2% beer only at retail, at said place, and do hereby
authorize and direct the issuance of said license by the Chairman of the Board, attested
by the County Clerk and Recorder of Weld County, good for one year from the date of issue
unless revoked, according to law, provided, however, that said license shall be issued up-
on the express condition and agreement that the place where licensee is authorized to sell
beer under said license will be conducted in strict conformity to all laws of the State of
Colorado and rules and regulations relating thereto heretofore passed by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado and any violation thereof shall be cause for revoca-
tion of the license.

WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to Weld
County, Colorado, an agreement extending to and including June 30, 1963, terminating
the term of that certain lease dated OCTOBER 24, 1927, covering a portion of its right-
of-way for use of A SITE FOR THE AULT SHOP, DISTRICT # 1 at AULT, Colorado, as follows,

County, Colorado, that the terms of the agreement submitted by Union Pacific Railroad
Company as aforesaid, be and the same hereby are accepted; that the Chairman of the
Board be and is hereby authorized to execute said agreement in behalf of said County;
and that the Clerk of the Board be and is hereby authorized and directed to attest
said agreement and to attach to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified
copy of this resolution.

WHEREAS, a change in the State Highway system, rerouting U. S.
Highway No. 6 in the Keenesburg area, known as State Project I 80S-1(17)31, has closec'
a portion of County Road No. 759, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point where the U. S. Highway No. 6
intersects the Section line between Sections 26 and
27, at State Highway Station #1196 plus 52.8' on the
North right-of-way line of Interstate Route 80S,
North 1,764.8', in Township 2 North, Range 64 West of
the 6th P. M.,
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the public no longer
require this County Road, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be to the best interests of the
County to close said road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commission-
ers, Weld County, Colorado, order that a portion of County Road No. 759, as described
above, be and hereby is vacated, abandoned and closed.

WHEREAS, on April 6, 1962, the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, passed a resolution
adopting voting machines for use for all state and county
elections hereafter held in Weld County, Colorado, as
provided for by Section 49, Article 12, C.R.S. 1953, and
WHEREAS, the use of voting machines necessitates
the reorganization of voting precincts in said County, and
it is desirable and necessary that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, now consider,
determine and establish such modifications in. the election
precincts in the City of Greeley.
