RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM RAY-GLO HOLSTEINS TO PRE-ADVERTISE SPECIAL
REVIEW PERMIT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Ray-Glo Holsteins, % EnviroStock,
Inc, 1597 Cole Boulevard, Suite 310, Golden, Colorado 80401, for pre-advertisement of an
application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit for a
Livestock Confinement Operation (dairy) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as part of the NW%, Section 14,
Township 6 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS!, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as October 20, 1999, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from Ray-Glo Holsteins, % EnviroStock, Inc, 1597
Cole Boulevard, Suite 310, Golden, Colorado 80401, for pre-advertisement of an application for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit for a Livestock
Confinement Operation (dairy) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as October 20, 1999, at 10:00 a.m
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of October, A.D., 1999.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Preadvertisement
Ray-Glo Holsteins, c/o EnviroStock, Inc., has submitted a request for the Special Review Permit
application which will be heard by the Planning Commission on October 5, 1999, to be
preadvertised. If you wish to approve this request, a hearing before the Board on October 20,
1999, will allow adequate time for advertising. Under the normal scheduling process, this hearing
would be scheduled for either October 27 or November 3, 1999, depending on the order in which
cases are received in the CTB office.

We respectfully request pre-notification and advertisement for the County
Commissioner's Hearing for Ray-Glo Dairy's Use-by-Special Review permit
application for scansion.
The application is scheduled for review by the Weld County Planning and Zoning
Commission on Tuesday, October 5, 1999.
Pre-notification is requested due to the increasingly lengthy processing and
scheduling delay between Planning and Zoning Hearings and Commissioners
Hearings.
We request prenotification for Commissioner's hearing dates within two weeks of the
Planning and Zoning Commission Hearing.
