RE: APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY LICENSE FOR A HOTEL/RESTAURANT LIQUOR
LICENSE FOR SCOTT PYLE. LLC, DBA WAG'S PLACE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Scott Pyle, LLC, dba Wag's Place, 4322 Highway 66, Longmont, Colorado
80504, presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, an
application for a Change of Ownership of a Hotel / Restaurant Liquor License, for the sale of
malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, said
License previously held by Harlan Wagoner, Wag's, Inc., dba Wag's Place, and
WHEREAS, Section 12-47-106.5, C.R.S., which became effective July 1, 1991, allows
for the issuance by the Board of County Commissioners of a temporary license to the
transferee of an existing liquor license to authorize the transferee to conduct business and sell
alcoholic beverages at retail in accordance with said license, subject to compliance with certain
conditions, and
WHEREAS, Scott Pyle, LLC, has complied with all of the conditions set forth in said
Section, and
WHEREAS, Thomas Scott Pyle, LLC, has also submitted the required application fee for
said temporary permit of $100.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that having examined said application and other qualifications of the
applicant for the transfer of the Hotel / Restaurant Liquor License and having considered said
request for a temporary permit, does hereby grant to Scott Pyle, LLC, dba Wag's Place, 4322
Highway 66, Longmont, Colorado 80504, a Temporary Permit to conduct business and sell
malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, at said
location in accordance with the license previously held by Harlan Wagoner, dba Wag's Place,
subject to all other rules and regulations set forth by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, for a period of 120 days, or until such time as the application for
Change of Ownership is approved by the State of Colorado, whichever shall occur first.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said permit.

PLEASE POST NEAR EXISTING LICENSE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
On the 16th day of July, 1997, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
did approve the Change of Ownership request of Scott Pyle, LLC, dba Wag's Place, for a Hotel
/ Restaurant Liquor License, with said license previously being held by Harlan Wagoner, dba
Wag's Place, and expiring on May 22, 1998. The required documents for the Change of
Ownership have been submitted to the State Department of Revenue for its approval. Until
notification has been received from the State advising whether this Change of Ownership
request has been approved or disapproved, the Board hereby authorizes the continued sale of
malt, vinous, and spirituous liquor at this establishment which is located at 4322 Highway 66,
Longmont, Colorado 80504, under a Temporary License which has been approved by the
Board. This Temporary License allows Scott Pyle, LLC, dba Wag's Place, to conduct business
and sell malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only,
at retail at said location in accordance with the license previously held by Harlan Wagoner, dba
Wag's Place, subject to all other rules and regulations set forth by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, for a period of 120 days, or until such time as the
application for Change of Ownership is approved or denied by the State of Colorado, whichever
shall occur first.

I am applying for a temporary liquor license, while waiting for approval on a
permanent one. The liquor license is for Wag's Place, an established restaurant that has
been in business for over 15 years and currently has a liquor license. I have personally
been in the restaurant business for a number of years, however this is my first time
applying for a license of this nature.
I have recently moved my family to Colorado solely to purchase Wag's Place,
which has been a restaurant I grew up with. Ownership is fulfilling a childhood dream of
mine. Thank you for your consideration.
