RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1200 FOR A CEMENT TRANSFER FACILITY -
DACOTAH CEMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Site Specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit#1200 for a Cement Transfer Facility for Dacotah Cement, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 23rd day of November, 1998, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow the applicant
adequate time to ensure all of its representatives are present.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
December 14, 1998, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of November, A.D., 1998.

Re: Request for Continuance of Board of County Commissioner' s Hearing
Docket No. 98-65, Dacotah Cement, Request for Special Review Permit #1200
Dear Ms . Harding:
The above named applicant requests a continuance on the above case that is now
scheduled for Board of County Commissioner's consideration on November 23, 1998.
Dacotah's Manager on this project, Mr. Dan Baker, has to travel from South Dakota
and is unable to attend the hearing on the scheduled date. If the hearing dates
in December are full , he has no objection to hearing date being continued into
early January, 1999 in order to insure he doesn't have another hearing conflict.
As Mr. Ben Patton of your Planning Services Department said you needed this
request submitted as soon as possible, I am faxing a copy to both your office and
his , but still sending the original letter by mail .
