This letter is in response to your request to put in 3 phase power to the existing shop at 2694
WCR 20 '/z. From the information you submitted Planning Staff has determined that this is
not a substantial change to Use by Special Review Permit 488. An amendment to the USR
would not be required at this time.
Please contact the Weld County Building Inspection Department to obtain the appropriate
building permits.

RE: 3-phase power
Dear Ms. Hockman:
I am writing this letter as a followup to a telephone conversation that you have had with
Dave Morden, our manager of Construction Services.
Please accept this letter as our intention to put in 3 phase power to the existing shop at
2694 Weld County Road 20 %2, Longmont, Colorado 80504. This address is referred to
as part of our Cottonwood Gravel Pit, Use by Special Review 488:82:3. As we begin
building a crusher and wash plant for this operation, the maintenance shop is a necessary
activity to assure a smooth transition to get this plant up and running and to keep the
plant in good repair.
I would like to schedule a time to meet with you to discuss this property, and be assured
that we have got all of the necessary paperwork in place to proceed. Please give me a
