RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION TO VACATE RIGHT-OF-WAY - NE'/4
SW'/4 S12, T5N, R65W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a petition to vacate a Weld County road
right-of-way, being more spefically described as follows:
A right-of-way approximately 50 feet wide following
the general line of the south bank of the Platte River
in the NE% SW% of Section 12, Township 5 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., and extending from
the west boundary line of said 40 -acre tract
northeasterly to the north boundary line of said 40 -
acre tract.
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on January 9, 1995, at which time the
Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow County Attorney staff adequate time
to ensure an easement agreement for access is executed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that this matter be, and hereby is, continued to January 25, 1995, at 9:00 a.m.
