HomeMy WebLinkAbout690374.tiffSIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED REVERTING LAND FOR ROAD PURPOSES TO PRESENT OWNER: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that it shall and does hereby sign a Quit Claim Deed reverting to the present owner or owners all right, title, claim and interest in and to a parcel of land for road purposes acquired by instrument dated April 29, 1930, recorded May 2, 1930, in Book 894 at page 282 of the Weld County Records, said parcel more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of Section 23, 2,303.7 feet north of the southwest corner of Section 23, Township 5 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P. M.: thence by true bearings, magnetic variation 14°30' East: South 85°00' East 830 feet along the south right-of-way fence of the Union Pacific Railroad, thence South 4° 36' West 267 feet along the West line of Highway #38, thence North 24°30' West 124 feet, thence North 77°30' West 771 feet to the west line of Section 23, thence North 60 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.2 acres more or less. L. Stimson did convey to the °o County of Weld, State of Colorado: o Beginning at a point on the west line of Sec. 23, 2, 303.7 feet north of the southwest corner of Sec. 23, T. 5 N., Range 64 west of the sixth principal meridian: thence by true bearings, magnetic variation 14030' east south 85°00' east 830 feet along the south right of way fence of the Union Pacific Railroad, thence south 4°36' west 267 feet along the west line of highway #38, thence north 24° 304wt west 124 feet, thence north 77° 30' west 771 feet to the west line of Sec. 23, thence north 60 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.2 acres more or less. , which deed was recorded May 2, 1930 in Book 894, Page 282, of the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder, Weld County, Colorado, and, WHEREAS, said parcel of land was conveyed for road purposes and said road, if it was ever constructed, has long since been disused and Weld County has not been maintaining a road in said location, and, WHEREAS, there is no public need for said property to be held by Weld County. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, Grantor does hereby sell and quitclaim to Grantee all of Grantor's right, title, claim, interest and demand in and to the parcel of land heretofore conveyed to Grantor and recorded in Book 894, Page 282, Weld County Records, with all its appurtenances.
