DEAR PAT,
I am sending this letter as a request for consideration to
extend the contract period for the jail food service currently
provided by Service America. With the impending construction
planned by the County, the potential of a change of contractor may
not be in the best interest of the County at this time.
During our term as provider of food service at the jail, I
believe we have provided the quality and flexibility required by
the administration. This flexibility can assist in a successful
transition during the construction and post -construction period.
In the event of this extension to be effective through
December 31, 1997, we are prepared not only to work closely with
the County to ensure significant continuity, but also to maintain
the current pricing structure during this period.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
Sincerely,
re-ritin
