Sage Ranch. She then stated the purpose of the amendments to said
ordinance are for clarity. Ms. Mika responded to questions from the Board
concerning the changes made by the Planning Commission. Mr. Erbes stated
he is a farmer/rancher in the Galeton community and reviewed his diagram and
request to allow a primary and secondary home. He stressed the need for
housing for the handicapped and aged which is not temporary. Responding to
the Board, Ms. Mika explained Mr. Erbes' options and suggested "attaching
structure" be replaced with "auxiliary quarters" in Section 10.1.A.7. She also
suggested amending the regulations of the "ZPAD", which is an accessory
dwelling permit, rather than changing this ordinance. Mr. Erbes made further
comments and submitted a newspaper article from The Denver Post dated
February 1, 1996, regarding "march septic systems"as Exhibit C for the record.
